Eight months ago, I left my job. This week, a friend asked me what I had learned. I paused for a long time, and then started talking in concentric circles that landed me here: I have learned that I am not stuck. It’s easy to feel trapped in any situation - job, relationship, home… And it’s natural to justify staying - finances, friends, family, comfort, fear, uncertainty… But in the end, each of us has agency. We can stay, we can go. In this lies freedom, confidence and empowerment. I have felt it. But it doesn't end there. In some ways, I still feel stuck, reluctant to apply this wisdom and readily exercise my agency. Apparently, unsticking one part does not inherently result in flying
